Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HagueGlobal (“HagueGlobal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit our website or join our investor waitlist. It is written for the services currently available on this site. Please read it together with any notice shown when you submit information.
Information we collect
- Waitlist information: If you join the investor waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. The waitlist service normalizes the address for storage and duplicate checking.
- Request and security information: When you use the site or submit the waitlist form, our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested page or endpoint, and request time. The waitlist service uses the connecting IP address and a keyed, one-way HMAC of the IP address and email address to apply abuse-prevention rate limits. The application does not store the raw IP address in its waitlist database.
- Privacy preference: The site stores your banner selection in your browser’s local storage so it can remember that you dismissed the notice. This is browser storage, not a cookie, and remains until you clear the site’s stored data. Either banner button dismisses the notice; neither controls cookies or scripts.
How we use information
We use information to:
- operate and maintain the website and investor waitlist;
- send HagueGlobal updates related to the waitlist request;
- provide an aggregate waitlist count;
- prevent duplicate signups, abuse, and excessive requests; and
- respond to privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations.
The current site uses the saved preference only to remember that you dismissed the notice.
How information is shared
We share information with service providers when needed to provide the site and waitlist. For example, the waitlist API and database run on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes request information to deliver and protect those services. The site also requests the Poppins font from Google Fonts; your browser may send technical request information to Google when loading that font.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and security of HagueGlobal or others, or as part of a business reorganization or transfer. We do not use the current waitlist implementation to sell or rent email addresses.
Cookies and similar technologies
The current site code stores the privacy-banner selection in your browser’s local storage; it does not use a cookie for that purpose. The current site does not load optional analytics or advertising scripts, including Meta Pixel. Choosing either banner button only dismisses the notice and saves that choice; it does not enable or disable cookies or scripts. Hosting and other service providers may use cookies or similar technologies as needed to deliver and secure their services, subject to their own practices.
You can clear local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may cause the privacy notice to appear again.
Retention
Waitlist email addresses do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule in the application. We retain them while they are needed to administer the waitlist and provide related updates, or as needed for legal and operational purposes. You may request deletion using the contact details below.
Rate-limit records use keyed HMAC values rather than raw IP addresses or email addresses. A scheduled cleanup removes expired rate-limit records daily.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can choose whether to join the waitlist, clear your browser’s stored privacy preference, or contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your waitlist information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will review and respond to requests as required by those laws.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children’s privacy
This website and investor waitlist are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children through the waitlist. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can review the request.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No website or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Third-party websites
This site may link to other organizations’ websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review those policies before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site or practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date above.
